Georgia Ugov

Originally from Queensland, Georgia grew up in Tarago with her family a small village about 45 minutes from Canberra. Georgia attended St Clare's prior to moving to Hawker College for her final two years. During her time at St Clares Georgia attended a careers night and met the team from Australian Training Company who were promoting a 'women in trade ASBA program' so as they say the rest is history. Georgia signed up and went on to complete a Certificate II in Resource and Infrastructure and this enabled her to undertake placements with four employers in the construction sector. It was during her fourth placement with Simmo's Plumbing and Coring that Georgia found that she really wanted to pursue an apprenticeship in plumbing.

Georgia's weeks are busy yet rewarding with College two days, on the job work two days and CIT for the fifth day. Not to mention sport Saturdays and a part time job on Sundays. She's on a mission!
